Description

American Baking Systems 2-tank sourdough system.  (2) 528-gallon jacketed SS processing tanks, 72 in. diameter x 36 in. tall straight side.  Top agitation, 208–230-volt drive.  Full sweep, side and bottom scrape.  Reverse cone-bottom tank with bottom/side discharge.  Top of tanks have; 20 in. diameter top manway with sensor, 3 in. diameter liquid inlet, 1 in. NPT liquid inlet, 8 in. diameter 8-bolt flange infeed.  3 in. diameter discharge with ball valve.  Discharge into Seepex progressive cavity pump, 3 in. diameter infeed/discharge.  Jacketed tanks, side and bottom jacket, (2) 1 in. diameter NPT jacket ports on bottom of tank.  Centrifugal pump for chiller.  Both tanks mounted on SS platforms.  SS platform for Hyfra chiller and SS control panel.  Electrical requirements 208/230-volt, 3 phase, 60 amp.

  • Both agitator motors were testes and are working.
  • Last used in a bread plant for sourdough. Removed from production September 2021.
  • 2,000 lbs. capacity per tank (100% water by 100% flour)
